Meet our Shelters of Grace Ambassador

We are proud to introduce Yair Pinto our Shelters of Grace Ambassador. With decades of shared history working together on numerous projects, we have come to deeply appreciate Yair’s unwavering devotion to Israel and its people. A former tank unit commander of the IDF and a dedicated reservist who served extensively in Gaza, Yair has been on the ground throughout the conflict, He has been reporting daily since October 7 on his program “Boots on the ground”. His firsthand experience and deep empathy for his soldiers, having left behind a wife and three children each time he served, make him uniquely passionate about our cause.

The flood of hatred, misinformation and fake news has caused tremendous harm—not only twisting the truth but tragically wounding the very people who are already paying the highest price for our freedom and safety. These falsehoods have also become a dangerous tool fueling antisemitism and even acts of violence against Jewish communities worldwide.
As part of our strategy one of our goals is to launch an awareness campaign to counter these false narratives. This initiative will shine a light on the impact of the war and on the pressing needs of our soldiers returning from war, as well as the widows and orphans left behind. Too often, these voices go unheard, and without awareness, meaningful support cannot be mobilized.

The Israel Cornerstone Foundation
Who we are, Our Core Vision and Objectives
The Israel Cornerstone Foundation, is a nonprofit organization in good standing and recognized by the Israeli Government. Based in Jerusalem, we have served faithfully for over a decade, standing alongside the people of Israel through times of peace and times of crisis.

Our work has spanned a wide range of support. During national emergencies, we have provided urgent aid—for example, offering housing to displaced families during recent conflicts. Today, we also operate two homes for lone soldiers who made Aliyah to serve in the IDF, ensuring they are embraced with dignity, care, and family. With a strong track record of integrity and impact, the Israel Cornerstone Foundation is the driving force behind the Shelters of Grace project.

Over the years, we have partnered with both national and international organizations, building a broad network of cooperation. Together, we aim to respond to urgent needs while also laying the foundation for lasting impact.

At our core, our objective is simple: to serve our people—the people of Israel and the Jewish community worldwide. We provide aid and assistance in times of war and crisis, but we also address another battlefield: the fight for truth in the arena of public opinion.

Today, Israel faces not only terrorism and war but also a rising tide of Anti-Semitism and hostility toward Israel are spreading across social media, news outlets, and global discourse at levels not seen since the years leading up to the Holocaust. Lies and distortions are used to sow division, violence, erode truth, and undermine the very values that once anchored our civilization.
In this dark hour, our foundation is committed to being a light. Through education, communication, and bridge-building based on our biblical Judeo-Christian heritage, we seek to counter antisemitism, misinformation, and strengthen international solidarity with Israel and all that it stands for.
Vision beyond crisis response
Our Commitment to the Region
From the very beginning, the Israel Cornerstone Foundation has been dedicated not only to serving Israel and the Jewish people worldwide, but also to building bridges of understanding and reconciliation with our neighbors. We believe with all our hearts that true peace is possible. Scripture reminds us, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God”—and we take this calling seriously.

Through the years, we have invested our lives with great effort in fostering dialogue and cooperation, not only with the broader international community but also with the Arab world. We have joined numerous initiatives and gatherings where trust was built and hearts were opened. With personal encounters, even when it was difficult we have seen how reconciliation can begin when people meet not as enemies, but as brothers and sisters created in the image of God.
Our vision is for a Middle East where unity triumphs over division, and where children of every background inherit not conflict, but the blessing of peace. With God’s help, we will continue walking faithfully in this mission, knowing that even the smallest steps toward reconciliation can shine as light in the darkness.
